Oh dear! It seems as though this week at the Teaparty that artistic merits are important. Ack! What's a talent-free gal-lery to do? Invent a cutting edge artistic style, that's what! I mean if you're the first, how can they say that you have no talent?!? Today you will be treated to that radical new fusion style, Kitsch Nouveau. Think Thomas Kincaid meets Precious Moments...shhhhhhh don't let on to Teneal, just act like this stuff is all the rage.

I took my inspiration from that adorable chickie teapot in the bottom row. Stamped the standing chick from KSS Hey Chick in So Saffron, Apricot Appeal, Memento Canteloupe and Desert Sand on Vanilla CS. Cut with Nestie and sponged with Marina Mist. Cut a Nestie egg in Blush, cut off the top and stamped a vine from Flourishes Humming Along for the handle. Punched nest base with Wide Oval, then trimmed and added kraft "twigs" that I crimped and applied with CE. Punched the flowers and leaves with SU and MS punches, applied gems and adhered to circle. Gilded a doily frame (this is a fancy-schmantzy gallery opening, isn't it?) with Galaxy Gold and attached the image panel. Made an easel card (art looks more artsy on an easel, no?) from Bashful Blue and BG Lilykate DP, applied the image panel. Stamped the Sentiment in Marina Mist ink, stamped the RST chrysanthemum in Versamark, punched and matted. Added more flowers/leaves, added the gems and done. PT 30, a new personal best!
Thanks so much for looking. If you can play and send a card to Haeli, please try and do so. Have a peaceful day.
