Like many of you, I am thinking about our friends in Japan this weekend, so I used a Japanese book I picked up at Half Price for this card for tradergirl's butterfly challenge this weekend.
I was inspired by my fave color scheme - blue and yellow - from the Inspiration challenge - I picked this page from Fossil's website.

Very nice Lydia. Thoughts to all in Japan! Turns out I had a girl from my graduating class from high school there on business in Tokyo (she's ok). Very nice tribute!

My sister is still waiting for a phone call from her roommate from college... She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I just pray she is O.K. You created such a wonderful card! This POPPED off the main gallery page and I just HAD to click to see more! Thanks for posting this!~

What a beautiful card Lydia. The blue and yellow colors seem soothing and a perfect selection given the situation in Japan. Love how you've colored those butterflies - very creative!!
