I LOVE this digi chipmunk image from Angels Landing. As soon as I saw it, there was no hesitation, it was purchased then and there! Last night, just before heading to bed, about one, I was flipping through a Magnolia magazine and saw this idea for the crochet border. Well, I had to try it. Ok, so I don't crochet.....but I had my trusty learn to crochet book and dug that out. Then I cut a circle. Too late to be punching with eyelet setter, so I used a small hole punch. Ok, I have the single and double crochet down but what on earth is a half double. That one I did not get, so I improvised. Well, after numerous goes, this is the final crochet circle border. Yahoo! I then threaded ribbon through holes and tied a bow. Then I went to the computer and printed out the chipmunk three times, colored with Prismas, cut and layered on pop dots and popped it up on circle. Three-thirty in the morning, and I was adding it to my card base. I could hardly see by that time, but I was happy with it. TFL. : )

Ooh, I love what you've done with my chipmunk image. Your coloring is lovely, and the flowers and leaves look terrific the way you've trimmed them and popped them up. That's dedication, to figure out how to crochet a border in the middle of the night. The results were worth it, though.

Aaaaack! Well now, this is just amazing, and 3:30 a.m.? Yes, you have got it bad, (and I want it too!) What a great idea. Perfect framing for this incredibly sweet image. TFS, so much!
