The sketch today was perfect - I wanted a daffodil card to send my MIL, as this morning the whole sitting-room was perfumed from a lovely big bunch of daffodils she sent back with DH. At first I thought of my Penny Black stamp, but then I realised the Flourishes one would be a much better fit with the sketch.
A2 base, with the edges wiped with Versamark and embossed with black EP. Spotted layer is October Afternoon Campfire, sponged with Peeled Paint. Diagonal strip is yellow Bazzill punched with the SU border punch, scored just inside the punching and a strip of orange Bazzill embossed with Swiss Dots. I added Cuttlebug Vintage Corners at the ends, with pearls in all the corners. Image is Flourishes Calendar Year #1, stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks. It's layered onto a Lacy Square cut from black, and popped up on foam. In hindsight I should have embossed the lacy square too.

Missed this in the big gallery, Sabrina. This is absolutely stunning...love how you colored the image, your color scheme, the scalloped borders and all of those dots!
