Well, this little sweetie is an image I've had on my computer for ages. I tend to gather "all things St. Patrick" since it's my cake and candles day. This little gal is dancing her heart out doing an Irish jig.
I've created this little card for my Mom - I often like to send her a card for St. Patrick's Day. My chance to remind her what a lucky day it has been for her - and to thank her for always being there for me for all these years. The fact that we're not a bit Irish makes it all a bit amusing. Had to marry into an Irish family to make it official.
I made this for a couple of challenges:
QFTD50 to honour Kim (Luv Flowers). Chose her Sweet Peas for Judy card as my starting point! Hope you're enjoying your reign Kim!
MMTPT136 - Bust a move! I have so many images of dancing things I can't decide which ones to use but this little gal is dancing so fast her shoelaces have come undone! So this is my first card for the tea party! Still have to get one made for Roxie!
And, lastly, F4A54 - celebrating good luck and St. Patrick's Day.
Printed the image on matte photo paper. The background paper is a digital paper printed on Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock. Pretty much stuck to Kim's layout. Piercing and punching and pearls to dress it up and off it goes to Mom.
Thanks for stopping by!

Heather this is a lovely card to honor our Queen this week!! I hope you have a wonderful birthday on the 17th. All of the Irish will be celebrating with you.

I am certain I had a doll just like that when I was little - one of my few dolls, I was more a bear girl. I like your shamrock paper too. What a lovely idea to send your mother a card on your birthday.
