It was such a perfect theme for a fun St. Patrick's Day card design ... it also gave me the opportunity to finally break out my two-step owl punch from Stampin' Up and my neglected four-leaf clover punch.
I punched my hearts from a wonderful red textured handmade paper. The four leaf clovers were punched from textured Core'dinations Cardstock.
The owl was punched from three different metallic papers with my white Inksentials pen used for the eye balls since I counted get the tiny punched circles to adhere. I finished by punching the owl's heart from the same red textured paper. The background is another wonderful handmade paper made with some straw and grass. I decided to save my sentiment for the inside.
