This is one of the hardest sympathy cards I've made. I could not even wrap myself around this & had to visit my gallery for ideas. This goes to a teacher, coach, friend and his wife at the loss of their only child. She was just 20 & fought so hard to live after being born 4 1/2 mo premature. She was killed in a car accident. I hope this brings her parents a small measure of comfort.
There is vellum over white. I see my vellum tape now shows. Does that happen b/c it's old???? The tree is stamped on white, the senti on the vellum. I embossed the vellum w/ a cuttlebug edge ef.
Thanks for stopping by.

How very sad Karen. You've put your heart into your card for your friends and they will certainly see that. I can't begin to imagine their sorrow. Beautiful card. Hugs and prayers.

What a sad, sad situation, Karen. I'm so sorry that you've had to make a card for these poor friends of yours. Your love and caring really come through in this beautiful sympathy card, though. The vellum is just the right thing.

Such a sad occasion....my heart goes out to them. Wow. I can see why this was hard to make - it is really soft and sweet and you did a great job. Wish I had a magic wand when I hear stories like this - wouldn't it be great to take some of their pain away?

How sad and painful a situation for these friends of yours. It really breaks my heart. This card will bring them a measure of comfort knowing their family and friends are rallying around them at this time of great sorrow.

Oh my, that is probably the most difficult event to have to endure. (well maybe watching your hubby of 25 years succumb to ALS, as a friend of mine did, is just as bad). Lovely card for them.
