I colored this hat and then tried so hard to make a card out of it. I was very short on time and in fact maybe a bit late. I hereby nominate my own card for the worst one posted. I just couldnt get it to look like I wanted.

Isn't that always the way, when you're short on time things go wrong. I believe all homemade cards are appreciated and we are always our own worst critic. Your card is just fine.

You are here!!! I love it when you can come in the Late Gate and make a grand entrance at something like the A-Card-&-Me Awards! Tee hee! Oooh....I think you are being too hard on yourself Roseanne...this is very nice! I am quite impressed with your stitching, stitching in a circle? Are you kidding me? I love your coloring and the feminine feel to this card! I love that you are here! Isn't this RED carpet RED??? Yikes!!

I too think you're being too hard on yourself, but I know the feeling. And as always, other people like the cards that we're not happy with, because they don't know that wonderful, elusive idea we had in our minds. I like your summery colours and the great stitching on the oval.

It's always that way - you see it in your mind's eye one way and next thing you know - the card has gone in a completely different direction! I like your card, the hat is adorable and love the stitching!

I think it's beautiful and Lauren would too! I agree with Mothermark in that the stitching in the round is HARD and you did a great job. Love the colors you used. Many thanks for your efforts on Lauren's behalf.
