This week we were asked to bring owls to the tea party. Read all about it here. I love our inspiration teapot and I got a little inspiration from my IKEA tray that you can see on my blog or at the Owl Barn, a blog I found while looking for a better picture of the tray. I think it's going to make Marie smile.

Oh, yes, this owl is great. The colors are bright and cheery and so the owl can be seen well, even if posted on the wall, as is the plan I believe. Very spring/summer. It certainly made me smile (and today is dark and grey here). You've done a marvelous job of transfering your inspiration into the card. TFS!

Now that is taking an inspiration and running with it! The colors and combination of patterns are eye catching.
I meant to mention, in my ramblings about making my card, that it was in the comment section under my original 2008 owl that I learned from you that a group of owls is called a parliament. Always remembered that fact!

OMG Lorraine... what a fabulous owl! Love the colors and DP you used. Thanks for sharing the link to an awesome website... I can see I'll be spending a lot of time there. Love your IKEA tray too!
