One of our beloved former queens, #45 to be exact, has a St. Patrick's Day b-day coming up next month. Since I don't make St. Patrick's Day cards normally, I thought I would get a head start.
I used some dimensional St. Patrick's Day images and encircled them in white. I used garden green and sparkly gold card stock for the rest. I used SU square lattic ef on both panels and popped up the main image panel on dimensionals. I was smart enough to use 4 images to represent a 4-leaf clover. Was that clever or what?
I added a punched gold ribbon at the bottom with a popped up 4-leaf clover in the center. I was going to use a special ribbon on the card; but, I couldn't get the greens to match; hence, the border punched ribbon.
Da Diz, I better get this in the mail to you now as Canadian mail takes at least 1 month if you're lucky. Did you get it "lucky"!!
At least I didn't have you go up in smoke like our poor Kookzi. I'll keep you around for a little while longer.

Pamzi, this is wonderful! I thought it might be for me, but then I saw it is for a 'former queen', so that CAN'T be little ol' me! ANyway, I like it a lot. Just in case you're makin' two. Just so you would know.

Luck of the Irish card? I guess that is why I'm so lucky...being married to an Irishman. Oh, you're really getting smart in your advanced age..thinking to use 4 images to signify a 4 leaf clover. Seriously, I like it bunches. I should make my hubby one of these for St. Patrick's Day. Would you make one for me??? Please, please?? Get it here on time.

Pam,
Perfect for a St. Patty's Day birthday or just for St. Patty's Day. I love it - beautiful green shades and images and the pretty gold! I'm half Irish on my Mom's side - my grandparents came over from Ireland. So, I love, love St. Patty's Day!!

How sweet this is, Fruitcake. I was just about to say I cant believe you're making St. Patrick's day cards. I think the person who's birthday is on 3/17 will be so happy to see what you've crafted specially for her. BTW, who's birthday are we talking about anyway? Help me out here.

What a great St. Pats Birthday card! I love the layout you used and this is just so fun. All the cool buttons around it are great too. You seem to have a lot of St. Pats day stuff for someone who doesn't make St Pats day cards - I must not have read that right. I see a lot of gold too - better watch out for leprechauns.
