I've made three bird cards this week. I guess that's what a bird lover does. I made this one for several challenges I have listed on my blog: http://benzistampz.blogspot.com/
I am entering this 2nd card into the Stampin B's Design Team challenge to do birds.
The bird is embossed with silver embossing tinsel. I made the twisted ribbon rose using this tutorial:
It was so much easier than I imagined.
I added some crocheted lace, pearl brad, heart rhinestones and cut a piece of lace for the top, left corner and added a button. I also used a Wilton foil doily.

Benzalina, this is a striking and sparkly bird image. I really love it. Your added doily, lace and that awesome ribbon flower are top notch. I saw a tutorial on the ribbon flower I think; but, it looked hard. I think there were stitches involved, so I got a-scared. Yours looks beautiful. I don't have anything mean to say tonight cuz I just got home from eating out and am a splitin' out of me britchez! Yeah, I know, you will pass that along to everyone. But, I'm being nice tonight; but, don't expect it will last!
