I thought this week's sketch would work well for a masculine birthday card - and since my Dad's birthday was last week.... (I did phone him...!)
Used foiled cardstock from a Paper Studio mat stack called Simple Elegance and added a quick sentiment and a few brads to highlight. Added a couple of matching strips of dp on the inside. Went together very quickly. This sketch is great for using dsp. No flowers, no bling (these brads aren't really blingy), no glitter, no ribbon, no cuttlebugging, no shimmer mist....
Now to get this belated birthday card to the Post Office...

Black and gold...awesome. Love that paper and this is a super, masculine card. Strange not blinging, isn't it?

It's about time you got back to stamping and uploading my Blue'z Band Pal. Oh, why do we have to have new names all the time???? I love the gold and black and designer paper. I see you squeaked those modern label punches in too. Oh, I see you didn't do as much fancy schmancy with your photo shoot as the inside can be seen from the placement of the card. Girl, you got it all. Just stay home enough to keep uploading. BTW, no, those were no jewels stolen from MY crown. What are you thinking? In fact, you never received the REAL CROWN - haven't you figured that out yet. Peggy thinks she got the best of me, but it didn't happen. I have it placed away in the most secret place and the only place I have disclosed its location is at my fake blog Zee FruitcakeZ Zecretz. Only, Agent 9999 and I are allowed access to keep tabs on the SCS's, especially the Punchkateerz and especially you since you always seem to mysteriously disappear with no trace. Hmmm....further investigation needed. And, can you believe Benzi sold her punch??? No way is she getting into the Blue'z Band with us. It's only a duet!
