My DD and I spent some time together browsing the site on Saturday afternoon. We made the card together. My idea was to have three owls in a row and DD wanted to put them on a diagonal. After stamping the owls, she drew in the tree and branch. I helped her draw in the outline with Close to Cocoa marker. We took turns colouring the image with Crayola pencil crayons and smoothed out the colours with odorless mineral spirits. We had a fun mother/daughter day.

How special this card is, Becky and how special to engage your daughter in learning how to make cards. She is learning from one of hte best, my friend. I think the design is fabulous and the image and the way it was colored is just spectacular. Kudos to mom and DD!

Awww Becky, the owls look so pretty. The starlight night is sooo beautiful. Love how you got inspired with the dolls and the neat owl necklace. I love your card. TFS

How special to help DD with this card. Tell her it looks great - the branch is very nicely done - and it is good to have a jewel for each of the owls! By the way. it could also look like they were coming to the Tuesday tea party - just a little early!
