This is a card I made for IC270. That website Uncommon Goods is amazing to gaze through! I found this cool reliquary box as my inspiration: http://data.uncommongoods.com.edgesu...1805_zoom1.jpg
I used my cricut imagine to cut the scalloped heart-it comes with the cricut, no cartridge needed! I then cut a few strips with the Martha Stewart lacey border and then snipped the opposite side so I could curve it around the edges of the heart. I made the paper roses from cutting circles with my scalloped edge deco scissors. I also went to Happily Ever Crafter's blog and tried his challenge to make a Valentine with hand written sentiments. I still prefer stamps for sentiments but this challenge was fun and Ted worded it in such a way you just have to try it! So my outside and inside sentiments were hand written for his challenge. I found the red heart buttons from Archivers. The corner trim is from Cuttlebug corner rounders. The turquoise pieces are simply turquoise brads. I glued the curl around the center of the heart with a scalloped edge cut from scissors. The center heart is one I found in my stash.
