For PTI's contest, we were to share our favorite card we made with PTI this past year. This is mine, not because it's an especially wonderful card but because it was for an especially wonderful person. She died 3 weeks ago so thoughts and memories of her are especially precious right now. She was the sweetest woman you'd ever want to know. The testimony she left behind was love, not just to her family but to anyone she came in touch with. She didn't have a lot naturally, but the gift and realization she left by her example was that natural posessions really aren't what is important. It's what's inside a person and what is poured out to others.
So, on to the card, I chose the quilt blocks because Mamaw made quilts for all her grandchildren, and I cherish mine.
The quilt blocks looked straighter on the card than they do in the picture. (How does that happen?)

Love it, it's very pretty! And the blocks looked straight to me til you pointed it out! ;-) But that's one of the things they say about quilts...although they may not be perfect, they're made with love, which makes them perfect!
