A swirl clip...I haven't used one of those in years but I'm determined to use up some neglected supplies in 2011.
The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils using the blender pencil #1077. I bought it as a single pencil but it was also sold in a package of two, singles were less expensive. To give you an idea of how it blends, only black pencils was used on the black and grey pig. I felt that the pencils are used more for the blending than with the baby oil or mineral spirits. The pencil is so much nicer than paper stumps for small areas.
All layers and the fibers tied on the swirl clip are ink distressed.
I thought the hardware was a little to silver so I colored it with caramel colored alcohol ink and a cotton swab. In real life it looks betterÂ…it the photo it still looks very silver.

Birds of a feather flock together or rather - where there's mud there's hogs? Well, it's the thought - sure are a cute bunch. Would make a cute get well card.
