Early this morning, my husband thought he had heard someone trying to get into our house. He woke up, grabbed his bat, and went downstairs to go look! THANKFULLY, no one was there! It took us a while to settle our nerves and so, to make a long story short... we didn't get very much sleep last night!
I'm pretty sluggish today, but so happy I was able to get a card in! I stopped several times to read, "Peter Rabbit," to Brooklyn #my 20mth old#. She had snack time and now she's napping, so I get to upload!!
About My Card:
I have been seeing all these BRIGHT/VIBRANT cards in the gallery lately and I have been so envious of those who know how to play with BRIGHT colors! #That was my "Crafting New yrs Resolution... to use MORE bright colors# I decided to play with some Pacific Point #blue#! You can't really get any more vibrant than this color #at least for me#! I feel you are all probablly getting sick of my "Vintage-y" cards, so I thought I would give RETRO a try!!
The setiment is from an old SU! set! The flower was made from... yes, the scallop circle punch! And I ruffled the ribbon for some MORE texture!
Wendy, this challenge was awesome!! I've mixed these ef's together before, however I am thankful this was the challenge today, because I feel like I would have just stuck with one!
I'm done yappin' now!
Hope you like my, "Retro Chic" card!!
Off to check out the gallery!!
