Happy Thursday! It is time for another Stampin' B's DT challenge. This week Faith is our hostess, and her challenge is to use a die cut. I don't have Cuttlebug/Sizzix type die cut machinery, but my engineer hubby assures me that my paper punches are "dies"--just not the interchangeable sort like Nesties!!
So, my "die cuts" are the Martha Stewart Loops punch borders and the SU word window punch.
This was such a fun card to put together!! It was a quick one, too, so I had enough time to make an identical second one. The inside reads "keeps the buttons from falling off!" Hee-hee.

So Pamzi and I were right when we decided that we should count our 'dies' in our punch tallies! And we certainly aren't engineers. Just wanted to up the punchin' tallies! Great card - the 'sewing' theme is big this year isn't it! Love the punched border - perfect for this - it's like little loops of thread - and the twine 'ties' it all together just perfectly. At the moment we're neighbours in the gallery. What fun!

Another one of my favorite themes...sewing. This is adorable with the buttons as accent. You know, wouldn't be awesome if some company made paper zippers for our cards!!! lol

Wow! This looks so much like the SU sewing set I thought they were the same! What a wonderful job you have done with this wonderful card! So full of colour and such fun! Indeed - we all know that a punch trumps a diecut everytime!

Hey, I agree with hubby - and since we Punchkateers count dies as punchez, it just seems right that punchez would count as dies. I like this card - great colors, layout, and images. I just ordered that stamp set and can't wait to get it! Did you stamp that speedy the cat label on the top of the thread or does the image come like that?
