For today's Color Challenge of Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo, and Pretty in Pink...with a dessert of buttons or pearls!
Got this Quilter's Sampler set "used" from the PTI boards and was so excited to finally have it in my possession! Stamped the quilt and colored it in with watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. Then I used Antique Linen Distress ink over the whole panel, and THEN stamped the retired SU Linen background over the entire piece with Vintage Cream ink. Also distressed the edges with sandpaper and "flicked" them up after taping them down, and by golly, it really looks like fabric now ! The stitched hearts are from the Verve set "Text Objects" (love!)
