My CAS100 challenge card to use the "Kissing" technique of stamping! I stamped the solid heart from the "I {heart} Hearts" stamp set in real red after stamping off to get a lighter shade. Then I stamped the flowery heart from "Love You Much" in Real Red. I turned that stamp with the image face up and stamped my solid inked heart in the middle of the flowery inked heart. Hope that makes sense!
That gave me a pretty flowery image with a light reddish background. Cool, huh?!?
I embellished the heart by cutting out and leaving a white edge. I then used my sakura silver stardust pen to color around the white edge and each petal. Added rhinestones to the tiny circles on the image and sakura glaze pen to the centers of the flowers. Now the image sparkles :-)
The 2 3/8" scallop circle punched layer was stamped with the "Sanded" background stamp and sponged with Real Red. I popped up the heart image. I used the 1/8" Real Red taffeta and made the bow out of the Early Espresso taffeta to bring out more of the E.E. sanded background.
I used my stampamajig to place my sentiment side by side instead of having the thanks below as the stamp was intended. A tiny rhinestone tops it all off.
Jen, I had a lot of CAS favorites, but finally choose this "Wishing for Spring" CAS54 favorite. Congrats on your "100th" Challenge :-) Many Thanks!
