The Technique Lovers Challenge 306, was to paint with Stickles on our card. Neat challenge!
I stamped my sunflower with Stazon Saddle Brown on GP White. I used Yellow and Orange Stickles on the flower and colored the leaves using a Prismacolor green pencil and Turpenoid.
My card is also for the QFTD41 Challenge honoring Kathy, (Airborne 101). Kathy has a wonderful gallery and here is the card I chose to case:
Instead of an elegant Christmas card I made a general occasion card. I used a sunflower image (new stamp for me) instead of the poinsettia, used bakers twine instead of ribbon and changed colors and papers.
This also qualifies for the Woodware Challenge to use something new on our cards. The Rubber Stampede Sunflower 11 is a new stamp I bought at Michael's last month.
I love sunflowers and your choice of stamps was perfect for this challenge to use stickles and for the Queen Challenge. Your papers are so prettty, too. Isn't it fun to use new stamps?

Wow, Bev, what a beautiful card! I love this new technique -haven't given it a try yet, but will soon. What a beautiful sunflower (nice and sparkly) - colored wonderfully! It's a lovely card - as are all of your uploads to the gallery! Thank you so much for stopping by and playing today - I truly appreciate your time in making the lovely card. Happy New Year!
