I made this card for CAS100 challenge, to use the "kiss" technique. I chose a solid pear stamp that I loved when I first stamped, gave it away, and bought this one recently on ebay(along with the script and a couple other pears!!). The stamp and script are made by Stamp in the Hand. Used old olive and kissed the pear with always artichoke and a SU wheel made into a stamp. Cut out pear, framed script and added olive pearls(found at AC Moores for $1...olive is such an unusual color to find in pearls). I think the pear looks ok where it is, but thought I would let you know, I had another pear on this card, didn't like it and when I pulled it off, it took the paper with it...so the pear you see couldn't take it's intended place, along the side, because it had to cover the tear...don't you just love cardmaking?? It's a very forgiving craft...fun and easy challenge...thanks for looking, hope you have a great day!!

Lisa, I love what you've done with this technique - the pear stamp with the pears text is perfect in Old Olive -when growing up I would never have imagined hearing myself say this, but I love olive, it's my favorite green! And those olive pearls, what a find! The textured paper of the card base gives a real richness too.

Love your pear card! Great shade of green to go with all the varieties listed. Your "kissed" pear is terrific with the "torn edge" look and your swirl design.

This is a very pretty card, the pear is perfect for this technique! I love how you have all the pear names in script behind the kissed pear! Isn't it nice to find different colored embellishments and then be able to use them! This card should make you glad that you re-bought this stamp!

it's nice to know I am in good company, I often have to resort to plans B, C and so on after tearing off an element here or there. The color just makes me really want a pear!
