This is my entry for the WT303-Sterling Silver challenge.
I knew almost right away that I wanted to do pink and silver, and I wanted to do a Thank You card. All products except for the ribbons and brads are SU.
The cardstock is Pretty In Pink and Chocolate Chip. The pattern paper is from Patterns Pack II.
The bird is from Punch Potpourri. I don't have the bird punch, so I stamped it and then cut it out. To make the wing, I simply placed computer paper on the image in the catalog and traced the wing onto computer paper, then I put the traced image on top of the cardstock, and "Traced" it with the tip of my bone folder. Then I just cut it out. I put a Stampin' Dimensional behind the bird, as well as on the back of the wing to give it a 3-D effect.
The ribbon accent is actually two pieces of ribbon, both from Walmart.
The sentiment is from Sweet Little Sentiments and stamped in Basic Brown.
I used the silver brads to accomplish the task of Silver for the challenge. I started out planning ot use the shiny silver brads, but then I decided that I really like pink and brown together, and the brushed silver looked better with the Chocolate Chip.
This thank you card is going to my mom for the wonderful gifts she sent my children for Christmas. She loves feminin girly things!
Happy Stamping
