I made this card as a Thank You for the husband of a friend of mine as he had made me a stamp by gluing a piece of mesh to a block of wood. You can see the mesh pattern in the background of the card.
I stamped the mesh with Sahara Sand chalk ink pad and sponged a bit of Sage Shadow ink for some more colour. I also brushed gold mica powder for a bit of shimmer but that only showed under certain lights and not when scanned!
The shells were embossed, sponged with Sage Shadow, cut out, and outlined with a gold leafing pen.

Ohh that is just gorgeous! I love your sand in the background, with the wonderful turquoise shells! So warm and inviting!! I could so use a little sunshine - it rains and is overcast day after day here! Lovely card!
