Hi! This card was made for several challenges: WT302-make it pop,(used dimensionals); WT301-All that Glitters, (used glitter paper that I made a few years back); Speedy's Friends Challenge to use mustard, blue and green; and Stampin' B's Challenge to use ribbon but not a bow or tied,(I wrapped it around the panel).
We've been busy, thank goodness. Markie has SEVERAL big projects due after the break, so he spent yesterday trying to get those partially finished. I have been working on designing sets. And, Mark spent yesterday traveling to Orlando and back to drop off our car for our second oldest to use.(His truck is now in our yard, waiting to be fixed...LOVE the way EVERYTHING seems to happen at once at our house! LOL) And, our mail carrier has been complaining, (she's laughing as she does), about how many "Christmas Cards" she has been delivering to my house. Frankly, I didn't have the heart to tell her that deliveries are sympathy cards. (I didn't want to dampen her holiday mood. And, bless her, Mother would not have told her, either.)
The background was made by laiying red-line tape done and pooring various colors of glitter on each line of glitter. I used a new Spellbinders heart die and sponged on ink while the die was still in place. The focal image was stamped onto Snow Storm Smooth in Adirondack's Pitch Black and colored in with Copics. I off-set the focal image for more "texture." The card base was embossed with a new Sizzix Embossing Folder.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 24 minutes

This is so creative, Faith, there's so many pretty things going on in your lovely card - I like the paper your created, the sponging, the colors, and the lovely embossing especially!

A lovely card, and WOW that embossing at the bottom is probably one of those new items I saw at MFP??
Maybe someone will give me some Christmas money. I would love to order one of those!!!

Just beautiful! What a beautiful 'heart' set and the bottom of the card is awesome, too.
