Hi! I made this card for today's CC: black, white and red with a dessert option of hearts and for today's teapot challenge: to create without stamps!! Eekkkk! I have to come in the backdoor, since I used 3 clear mount stamps on this one!!
Mostly, I watercolored using my aquapainter, very wet watercolor paper and shimmerz. I added gold glow smooch spritz and candy apple red glimmer mist to the mix. It's very shimmery irl!! I tried to draw the hearts free hand while everything was wet, but it looked like a 2 year old had at it with paints! So, I snuck the 3 hearts into the teaparty in my apron pocket!! I know I'll see many others there!!!
TFL and have a messy, creative and fun day! I know I did!!

This is fabulous, Gail!! I love that touch of the black lace as an accent. Really beautiful card.
Thanks for playing in the challenge and have a very Merry Christmas!!

I love wet watercolour techniques, and this looks absolutely fab. I sympathise with your first attempt at the hearts - even though I'd blow-dried my sand, some of my fence still ran and I had to trim the panel down a bit. I can imagine how fantastic this looks in real life.

I really love the RED! The hearts are nice too, but I really love the RED!
