I've put in a better photo now the snow has stopped and the light is improved, with a small inset showing the sparkle on the sea.
Brrr, it's snowing again here, and about 50F in my attic so I ain't spending long up here, and I'm dreaming of a warm, sunny beach in Greece with yachts sailing by on the horizon.
We have an Irish *Bob Ross*, whom I used to know because the company I worked for supplied the watercolours he used. I used two of his tips in my watercolour card today.
Have Some More Fun = Horizon, Sky, Middle Ground, Foreground.
And use a hairdryer to speed up the drying .
DH and I attended several of his demos as *minders*, and he always had that hairdrier out to get the wash backgrounds dry quickly.
But you can tell anyway that I am in the camp with the people who can't paint, I was sorely tempted to stick some stamps into my smock pocket this morning.
5/3/4" square base. H2Os and regular watercolours with Stickles along the shore line. Edges distressed and layered on Bazzill.
I made a piece of frosted sea-glass to embellish the card with, but it's too big so I settled for shells.
This will go to Kris, although I am sure it won't arrive till after Christmas at this stage - I'm not leaving the house till I have to.
But I've got lots of baking to do, so have some spicy cranberry squares to start with.

This is beautiful!!! You are a fantastic artist! Good luck with your baking. It took me 2 tries to get peanut butter fudge. The first could have been a stepping stone it was so hard!

You have created such a peaceful summer scene. The shimmering water is eye catching.
Today the Colorado mountains are getting snow measured in feet, not inches while we have yet to have but a dusting in the Denver area.

You have created a lovely, peaceful, and pretty watercolor scene, my friend! Now about those cranberries.....do you think Bertie could have some to add to her paint bucket?

Mmmmmm, spicy cranberry squares - where's the thread for recipe swaps?? This is a beautiful card, my favorite paintings are watercolors, and I love the soft, sea washed effect you've achieved - would love to have seen your frosted sea glass too! Sabrina, no one told me when I married a Northern Irishman that it was going to get as cold on this island as back in Alaska - it's positively Baltic!!! You stay safe and warm too!

I am so amazed at all the raw talent among the teapotters/SCSers, i.e.,not using stamped images. Everyone is so talented - this is really lovely, Sabrina!
