thought the shadow box card was a really cool technique, so I wanted to play with it. This is what I came up with
I am SOO burned out on making Christmas cards, so I wanted to do something else. This would be cute for Valentines day, or even a birthday.
I used the Designer Patterns paper in Regal Rose for the card box. The bow is made frome the same pattern but in Daffodil delight.
The stamp is from the Love You Much set. I inked the stamp in Early Espresso, then used a baby wipe to take the ink off of the flower. Then I stamped it. I then used the tiny heart from the I {Heart} Hearts set in real Red, and stamped it where the flower would normally be. I used a Wild Wasabi marker to color in the stamp.
The large heart is also from the I {Heart} Hearts set. I stamped it on a seperate sheet of paper, then cut it out, leaving some white around the edges. I put a bit of tape on the bottom of the heart, one Stampin Deminsional on the top right, and two Stampin Deminsionals stacked on top of each other on the top left... so the heart stands up at a little bit of an angle.
It's actually not THAT difficult to do, just takes a litlte practice.
A fun card, I plan on doing more of these.
