300 WT challenges! Can you believe it? Thanks so much, Julia! It's been wonderful!
I found a lot of WT challenges for this one and there are probably more but here goes:
WT05- embossing powder
WT18 - scissors
WT21 – aquapainter
WT29 – craft ink
WT64 - The Heat is On (heat gun)
WT108 - On your Mark - (marker challenge)
WT149 – Emboss Powder rerun
WT219-stamp it again
WT276- Heat Embossing
WT289- Holiday Headstart
For the new part, I'm using new (to me) images. Did you know DRS brought these great ice skates out of retirement? And it's all due to a thread in the SCS Forum. Is this a great place or what?
All images are DRS Designs. For my card, I went with an icy blue and white color combo and lots of sparkly embossing and fussy cutting. It may be weird, but I really like cutting. I used an indigo pigment ink w/ the sparkly, translucent embossing powder for the skates and December images and a silver pigment w/ the same powder for all the snowflakes and snowflake wreath. The images were colored w/ markers and a water brush. The wreath was die cut and the edges of it as well as the edges of the dk blue background were also embossed for a little extra sparkle. All of the images are popped up just slightly. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.5.
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups are on the DRS Blog today: DRS blog My blog: The Write Stuff
