Just a quick upload as I haven't had time to spend on the site as of late.
I wanted to make a more aged/vintage feeling card with the SU Rejoicing in Christmas image. I used SU dsp Deck the Halls, antique brads, linen thread, and embossed the image and greeting in soft suede. I reluctantly lightly distressed the soft suede image mat - OUCH!
Thanks for taking a look and I hope to be out and about on the gallery when I can.
P.S. Finally, a SUO card!

Bee-u-tee-full dear Pamzi my Punchin' Pal. Good to 'see' you in the gallery. I take it your sailor turned cowboy has come riding home to your rescue. Hope all is well. We are now safely back at home, surrounded by snow and cold weather and scratching our heads wondering why we left the land of abundant sunshine.
Your card is wonderful - very 'you'. Love the purdy brads - they are on 'my list'. So, you are reluctant to distress - but it looks so good! Very nice my friend. Very nice. Not a lot of punchin' goin' on here but we'll give you a pass since you've got other things to think about these days. ;-)

We know you've been busy (wink, wink). But this is absolutely beautiful, Pamzi!! I love the homespun feel to it--just like that first Christmas must have been. Your sponging around the main image is so soft and beautiful and highlights it so very well. Go keep being busy now!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! It's wonderful! So...how did it feel to get in touch with your SUO side? LOL...
Seriously, though, this is one beautiful card Pam. You choice of subdued dsp and the linen thread is perfect with this wonderful image. I love that you didn't color it and just let the image speak for itself.
Keep those SUO cards coming! Take care!!
