When I saw the 12 days of Christmas song in this weeks story I knew exactly which card I could submit. But then I noticed that we were not supposed to bring anything “12 days” related. Well, this close to Christmas I thought I better not do anything to put me on the naughty list so I made another card. However, I just couldn’t resist the temptation to share my “12 days” card so here it is, inside & out. (A little naughty makes life a bit more fun, don’t you think?)
This card is my Christmas card from a couple of years ago. It is an accordion card with panels inside depicting the 12 days gifts & the sentiment says, “May all the days of Christmas bring you an abundance of love & joy”. Fully stretched out this card measures a whopping 57 inches, all on a single strip of white paper! I made 60 of these! It was a lot of work & I enlisted the help of hubby. By the end we both agreed that this project fit into the categories of “What was I thinking?” & “Never again!”.

What were you thinking? Snort!
Woman in Canada finds herself divorced and out in the cold due to the choice of Christmas card she chose to make for her family and friends!
In an recent interview her husband admits the long hours of putting together never ending accordian cards was the sole reason for his hasty decision and agrees to let her back in the house! Everyone loves a happy ending and a Christmas Miracle!

You made 60! I'd draw the line at one, what were you thinking is right. But I bet they were appreciated, and I hope at least some were kept as treasures.
