Dawn... This was an awesome challenge! I knew this was the perfect challenge for me! I just LOVE music. Whenever I am crafting away, my radio is on! I usually listen to piano music or anything classical. I love the way a song can make you feel. And the emotions and memories those songs can bring to life!
For some reason, I kept thinking of a snow globe while listening to, "The Nutcracker." You know...the ones you can wind up, shake and enjoy the music while all the, "snow" is falling? :o) I thought this couple from, "Winter Post," was perfect for this challenge! Don't they look like they could be skating to, "The Nutcracker?"
Hope you like my card! And thank you, Dawn for using music as the inspiration for us to create! I was totally in my comfort zone!

Jenna, this is an exquisite creation - I just had to look at it for a while to take in all the little elements you added! I love the different embossing, the lace, the sparkles and the popped up image of those two skaters! I know it's not easy to cut out "frittery" (thats a Northern Irish term I think!) images like this with tiny bits, but its so worth it when you see the finished effect like this. Your card is so Christmassy and romantic!

What a beautiful snowglobe you created, Jenna. The coloring is magnificent as are the added details. A stunning card! I'm sure the music from the "Nutcracker Suite" has been skated to.......many times! : )

I love all the many textures on your card. This is just gorgeous! I always have the radio on as well! I sure helps when the chores are not stamping chores...doing the dishes, mopping the floor, cleaning the bathrooms. I hope you have a very musical holiday!

Wow, Jenna, you've really captured your inner vision of a snow globe perfectly with this, and the holly and greenery and poinsettia are great. Perfect soft vintage colours to suit the feel of the stamp, too.
I must admit that while I love music, it tends to be talk radio I have on most of the time. And when I look at your card, I hear a 2nd Chapter of Acts song which I play for DH - once we had a Canadian missionary visiting us with her husband, and she had done figure-skating at competition level to that particular song.
