Thanks Julia for a great challenge, LETTERS. I love this theme! So many different fonts, different ways of looking at life! And best of all letters inspire stories.
When my DH and I shared gingerbread lattes at the 'buck last weekend, I knew immediately I would use the sleeve in card art!
The colors in this card are from the CC299 and the 365 Card Blog Challenge 'A Novel Idea'.
My card celebrates the stories we hold close to our hearts, especially this time of year. If you care, please share a story that came to mind when you saw this card. Thank you very much.

My favorite Christmas story was the year my sister, Lynn did some very last minute shopping and some how got home with two house shoes for my grandfather that were two of the same feet and both different sizes. It was Christmas Eve and too late to do anything about it. We ended up giving them to my former husband (at the time he was my husband, and this did not cause the divorce I might add) and have gotten the biggest laugh over that over the years.
My mom had a bottle of Old Spice in her cabinet that she let Lynn use for Grandaddy.
I just love your card and I love the sweet stories of Christmas of years ago that still find a place in my mind (somehow--since too often I feel like I am losing it)LOL.

This reminds me of hot chocolate. We spent Christmas up at a cabin one year and our grown kids rented cabins, too. My daughter brought some peppermints from Sees Candies that are shaped into balls. We added them to our hot chocolate, and it tasted so yummy! I've never been able to duplicate that taste. Maybe the mountain air at the cabin did something to it!
This card is awesome! Love the recycling and your layout!!!

Stories certainly are gifts. Right now I am too tired to think of one to share. Because your snowflakes remind of stars, I'll find a poem of my mother's to share via email, now that I do actually get my brain into thinking mode rather than just admiring the cards as I look through the gallery mode .

A wonderful way to use LETTERS, Susan! I just love how you recycled that nicely designed coffee sleeve--and with style, too.
