Running late as usual, but this is my card for Cindy's Teapot Tuesday Challenge (MMTPT122): MMTPT122 ~ BELOW IS YOUR FINCH! DON'T WORRY, IT'S A CINCH! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
This week the teapotters are headed for San Antonio, TX. It seems the Flying Fincharelli's are facing off against Rocky the Cat to entertain the 42,000 visitors who've just arrived. Rocky promised bungy jumping lessons with his instructor, Boing, if we would bring some other cats to cheer him on. However, better yet, Fabian Fincharelli has offered to teach us to fly if we support the FF Trapeze Show. Well, bungy jumping is just not for me, so I brought along a pretty goldfinch and now I can learn to fly. Then it's tea and cookies for us all!
In real life, this card is for Linda T., a friend of SCSer, Lori (Chef Mama). Linda is battling cancer right now and if that wasn't enought to cope with, her Mom passed away while she was undergoing her treatments. She's had some complications with her therapy and is currently in a nursing facility. Hopefully our cards will lift her spirits a little and give her some encouragement during this difficult time. You can read about Linda's story here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I'm getting my flying gear together and I'll be on my way toTX. Save me some tea!
Oh, and I forgot to mention I used this week's sketch from StampTV for my layout.

No worries Carla! We just got through the lessons, haven't even had time to think about tea.....it takes a long time to reassure 42,000 teapotters that they will never have to bungy jump or fly on their own again!
Is that a real branch that you snagged on your flight? That is cool! And what a great sketch that is! I love the circles in the corners....its awesome with these images! Linda will be loving this for sure! And now having said that......
Ya big chicken! Can't believe you didn't choose to bungy jump with me! Come on! Where's your cat?
