The Ways to Use it Challenge WT294 here on SCS from a few weeks ago is "Frames" and I have been so inspired by the way people use them on their cards - so here is my version. See this link for the deets on the Challenge: WT294 - Frames (10/28/10) by Julia S at Splitcoaststampers
Aren't these little bunnies just so adorable?!! It is one of my new Christmas purchases (an early pressie for me - hee hee!) by Stampendous called "Bunnies in the Snow". They were coloured with Derwent Coloursoft and Prismacolor pencils and Odourless Mineral Spirits (OMS). I added lots of Polar White FlowerSoft with Aleen's Tacky Glue to the branches for the snow, and added red Kindyglitz to the flowers at the bottom of the image (although they look kind of dark in the photo) plus pink Kindyglitz to the bunnies' ears and cheeks.
The snowflakes embossing is one of the f's from the CB Winter Wonderland set - it is larger than the regular size CB folders so was perfect for making a square card for this image. Note that I did the embossing first, then diecut the circle with my Circle Nesties so the embossing doesn't get squashed. I popped this white embossed panel up on 1mm mounts (dimensionals) to add a little bit of dimension to the whole card. This was then layered onto green cardstock and then again onto white cardstock with just double-sided tape for both of these layers.
I thought about adding a sentiment, but decided against it as I really wanted this beautiful image to take centre-stage. Lastly, I added a white organza bow which I made with my Bow Easy, then glued on a sparkly green Christmas tree brad - I cut the prongs off then glued the brad on with Super Glue (yes, really - that brad ain't going to fall off when I post my card!!).
I am also entering this card into 2 other Challenges: Stampin' B's Design Team Challenge #86 and this week's theme is to make a Holiday card. And the third Challenge is Mark's Finest Papers "Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #31 which is a nice and easy one of having a bow on your card. I have deets on this plus links on my Blog.

Oh My this is just too cute. I saw that stamp on Archivers new retail web site today and now I have decided to get it for sure. Your coloring is so beautiful and the use of Flowersoft is the perfect touch. TFS
