I bought this gorgeous clear stamp set by Woodware Uk last year but never had the time to get around to doing anything with it!
I had SO much fun colouring these little figures and like many others here on SCS find cutting stamped images out incredibly relaxing! It's one of those jobs you can do whilst still watching tv! I can't just sit there with idle hands!
As you can see the card is VERY simple, just matted and layered onto Kraft and gold cardstock. The little figures have also been put onto 3d sticky foam pads for extra dimension (I really need to invest in some silicone glue as that WAS a bit fiddly!)
The background DP is from the Joanna Sheen Christmas Backing paper pad (red cover) and the figures were coloured using my usual combo of promarkers and watercolour pencils. Stickles, adhesive gems and pearls added the necessary bling.
I still feel as though the top of the card looks a bit "naked" and was thinking of trying to create a banner to hang across the stage saying "Happy Christmas" (or something else suitable) but am not sure so would appreciate any feedback! does it look unfinished to you?
As you can imagine in order to fit all of the characters on, the finished card is fairly large 8.5" x 5.5" so I will be saving these for the "special" people in my life!
As ever, I appreciate soooo much your taking the time to stop by my little corner of SCS and happy crafting whatever you are working on! x

That is a darling card! I do think it needs a sentiment at the top. I would stamp it and then layer it onto gold and then kraft to keep it with the rest of the card. You could even computer generate something. (I can't think of what right now.) Also I have a stamp that says "It's the most wonderful time of the year." Like you, I would save these cards for my most important and loved people.
