This is the card I did for the Buckleman's BD - A wild, Wild West cowboy card! He is such a sweet "dude" to all Mrs. Buckle's friends, I figured he needed some new duds awaiting him when he rode in for the night. I also hired a "high dollar photographer" to take this fancy shot of the front AND inside, all in one for me - makes it look even better!!!
This is a gatefold card, but a little tricky because I knew it HAD to have a BUCKLE on it for him, so I made one by using the MS fence punch on BOTH sides of my wraparound belt. The BUCKLE was made by using an MS corner punch and working my way around a square. It has a velcro closure! All the trees are embossed, and so is the snow on the landscape and the cowboy, plus a little gel pen to bring out the highlights of his features. The stars in the WWW Texan sky are gold to match his buckle, and I found the inside elements in a book and cut each out to represent the BD presents that were awaiting him when he came in from the range. The belt closes from one side and the tag wishing him Happy BD is on the other side.
I figured a MAN like him, deserved the best card I could make, though I wish I have done a few things a little better!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUCKLEMAN!!
HUGS (don't worry, nuthin' else, PAT!)

Another amazing card - just outstanding. What I want to know is did you have blueprints and specifications for this beauty - since it is so involved?! Truly, it's wonderful -- all the thought and care shows throughout this card!!
