This is an altered Christmas ornament CD/ Christmas card for this year. First, I embossed the gold fan, then tore the Japanese washi paper and added the mounted wallet sized photo. I also used a Gecko punch. (My family will enjoy the Gecko since they know how terrified I am of them and how many I've had to battle in the house this year!) Once the prep work was done on the paper, I mounted it onto the CD using spray adhesive. Then I added, the Japanese flowers and ribbon as the ornament holder using hot glue. On the back of the CD, I wrote our family name and the year with a red Sharpie. I mailed them using a CD envelope with the photo towards the open window and tucked our Christmas newsletter in as a bit of padding. We'll see how my family likes my unusual "card" this year. Thanks for looking!!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
