Oh, such retro goodness, Stef. The Plaid Pony Vintage is like waking up as a young girl in the '60's. I loved perusing their offerings, especially the Womens' dresses. In the end, I decided on this apron for my tag.
I remember when I first began papercrafting, I made lots of tags...I could not imagine creating cards and the very first ones were almost 'white knuckled'...if you know what I mean. So to revisit tags was quite fun. For this one, I used Basic Grey's Mistletoe and Pear Christmas paper group from 2008. The apron is Lockhart's which I cut down to fit the inspiration. I made the pocket with corner punches and faux stitching. The Happy New Year is an unknown stamp. The fun calendar is from Cat's Life Press...inked with Memento and embossed lightly. The tiny reveler is also unknown. Those snowflakes are from Tim Holtz using VersaMark and Holiday Sparkle embossing powder. I finished it off with random trims and the bubble typewriter 2011 numbers.
Can you believe it is almost 2011? Where does the time go??? Hope you are finding time to be creative this weekend. Thank you for your comments!

Seize the day is right - the weeks just seem to be flying past!
I think I need to go and have another look through that site - everyone seems to have found stuff that I missed altogether.

Wow, you really brought together an amazing combo of stamps and elements to create this pretty and interesting retro tag! I love the apron with the pocket, the date circled on the calender, and the little 2011 bubbles - fabulous tag, Susan!
