I quilled this snowflake out of cardstock that I used the W.I.S.H. technique on. They look really hard, but they aren't. They just take a little time. I can make one in 1/2 hour, but I've had a little experience. I think a beginner could make one in about 1 hour. I have a tutorial on my blog on how to make one. SNOWFLAKE TUTORIAL The only stamping I did on this card was the Thank You sentiment. This Thank You sentiment was from Mark's Finest Papers "Thankful Mums and Pumpkins" set. The ornament is attached to the card with thread that is taped to the back of the top 2 panels. It makes for easy removal. I zig-zag stitched the panels to the card. This seems like a lot of work for a hostess card, but the hostess that I am going to give this to does so much work. Our senior pastor's wife hosts about 200 people at the fellowship hall for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. She puts hours into decorations, placemats... She cooks the turkies, and then she make sure everything gets cleaned up. She has such a servant's heart and doesn't do this to be thanked, but I think she deserves it!! So this is going to go to Ethel with lots of thanks!!
