I made this card for challenge #58 at colourQ, http://colourq.blogspot.com/2010/11/...llenge-58.html . On my blog, I called it Nightmare on Challenge Street because of what I went through to get it made. Whew! Some days it pays to stay out of the craft room. LOL
In the end, I was happy with it...I think. The crazy story of this card is on my blog.
I had to sub two of the colors. The colors were: Early Espresso(I used Chocolate Chip), Cajun Craze (I used Peach Parfait), So Saffron, Always Artichoke, and Kraft+White.
I used a Martha Stewart stamp and punch for the sentiment, leaving only the stem as the round pumpkin didn't fit exactly right, of course. I cut out the images from Autumn Harvest and placed in the pocket on dimensionals. I stamped the brick background with leaves from the Autumn Harvest set, also. I used the sentiment from SU's Falling Leaves.

Look, a 2nd card from Da Benz! What a treat. I'm sorry you had such a rough time with this, but it really came out exceptional. I love the brick b/g, your pumpkins in the pocket, leaves, twine and sentiment. This really is a truly lovely Fall card oh buddy of mine!! TFS!

I loved your story of this card, Benzi!! IT's so nice to know that I'm not the only one who has days like that LOL . In the end, I think this card turned out perfectly. So adorable! The hemp twine is the perfect touch.

Benzi your efforts paid off on this one. I love how the images look like they are "tucked" in. The embossing in the background is awesome. The twine is the perfect accompaniment for the fall theme of this card. Beautiful work!
