Gotta tell you about the SMOOTHEST paper and best ever to blend Copic markers! It's called X-Press It Blending Card and I recently ordered a pack from Stamper's Dream...and it's dreamy CS! OK, on with my card...
Our Creative Corner Challenge this week was to create a card with an attitude of gratitude - and not necessarily a Thanksgiving card. I'm so thankful I made the decision to become a nurse all those many years ago (if you must know...I graduated with a BS in nursing in 1974, so guess that pretty much tells my age - LOL). Yes, there have been frustrations, but I have the most wonderful co-workers in Student Health (at a comprehensive rehabilitation center) where I work in a clinic serving a daily census of over 300 students...all with some form of disability. When I first graduated, nurses only wore white! Thank goodness that has changed! So that's why this Pure Innocence image is wearing colorful scrubs! :-) Again, I used Laura Pryor's sentiment flag - love it a lot! This card also qualifies for a new challenge (at least to me it's new) and that's for Raise the Bar Challenge to use curves. There are curves in my Nestie and curves in my scalloped border and I guess Miss Florence (referencing Nightingale) has some minimal curves - lol! Have a great day...it's a good day for it!

Wanda, what a wonderful image for a get well card.
I think she is soo cute. I really like the pretty dp that you've chosen and the ribbon/button are perfect embellishments.
