Is started this card yesterday with the stamping with water technique. I brayered the wall panel with various brown inks. I then used water to stamped the bricks. The bricks, flowers and butterfly are from a soon to be released set by Mark's Finest Papers called Brick Wall. I water colored the flowers with turquoise inks. I added gold smooch to the flowers and and the butterfly. I wanted this to have a vintage feel, so I added a lace panel (from and old lace curtain) and a stip of lace edging. I stitched the panels using my sewing machine. I tied twine through the buttons. I used little circle stickers to make the butterfly's trail.I punched out the circles using a 1" circle punch. I stamped the word "PEACE" from Mark's Finest Papers set called Seasonal Poisettias. I have been thinking about the Fruit of the Spirit this week. I decided to make a card about PEACE. I want to have a PEACE-FULL life so that I can share that peace with those around me.

Wow, there's so much detail on your lovely card, I had to study it for a bit! Beautiful re-purposing to stitch on a panel from old lace curtains - at first I thought it might be a piece of lovely lace tablecloth. I love your them of "peace" and your goal to be that kind of person!

this is a beautiful card-I really like the thoughts you have shared here about the fruits of the spirit-and having peace in your own life so you can extend it to others
