I attended a Christmas shoebox swap on Oct 20th with some local friends and papercrafters. I usually get the projects done to a point, but being a details kinda crafter, I usually get them home and add a little something extra. My friend Cathy who hosted the event, gave us the placecard idea, which you may have seen in the form of a primitive star in my gallery. They use butterfly clips found in almost any office supply section. This version leaves the top of the clip visible and ready to hold your name tag. Marilyn came up with the cute little box that I will make some gift cards and envies to add in. I brought home the little striped scrap which is the reverse side of the green paper. I pinked it with my scissors and added the lace, the star and the cute little banner. These little banners were first introduced to me through the wonderful work of Anna Wight aka SweetMissDaisy.
