This card is for a challenge sponsored by my LSS, Scrapbooker's Paradise. The challenge was to create a card that included the die cut frame which they provided.
Not a word of a lie, this had to be the most difficult card I've ever made!!!! The perfectionist in me reared it's ugly head because I only had one frame to play with so don't mess it up! I can't tell you how many different variations of the ornament I stamped and cut out before I decided on this one.
This card uses a lot of different distress inks. The background is Peeled Paint, Milled, Lavender, and Stormy Sky. On top of that I stamped the music in Brushed Corduroy. The frame is inked with Brushed Corduroy, impressed with my Woodgrain impression plate, and then lightly inked with Vintage Photo to bring out the woodgrain. The ornament is Chipped Sapphire with pale blue glitter in the swirls. The sentiment is cut out from a larger stamp from The Stamp Barn. It is stamped in Vintage Photo and then sponged in Stormy Sky.
