My NEW favorite Technique......"Simple Frame" by the very talented "Biggan". This is one of the featured techiniques on the Holiday Project Shwocase. Not only is there a very clear photo tutorial, but also a very helpful video for this easier than it looks technique. Do try.....it is just so much fun with I think very impressive results.
I kept my main image very simple using a small 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square piece of the "Deck the Halls" DP from the SU Holiday Mini. I framed in Cherry Cobbler CS the piece and added the stamped sentiment and tiny SU pearls for a bit of embellishment. I thought the Cherry Cobbler Seam binding, which is rich and very soft with a bit of shine was enough embellishment for the frame. The binding also makes such easy and beautiful bows.
Thanks again Birgit for a fabulous tutorial. It so represents your simple and textured style of creative stamping.

Look at this! What a treasure! Okay, Nancy, you've completely inspired me to try this technique. I love, too, that you decided to frame a piece of our gorgeous dsp.
