Suppose to be raining here tomorrow. Today it is beautiful! But I will be getting my rain gear ready just in case it continues on Monday. hehe
Today for my IC I chose this one. Mainly because I thought it would work perfected for the Simple Frame Birgit shared with us......details....
I made the frame according to the instructions. Stamped my little scene using Paper Trey Ink stamps, Mutnik umbrella and Rosie Roadshow cloud left over from yesterday.
Sponged my frame with sunset orange because it just needed some color. My bg panel was ran through the cb using a fiskar raindrop plate. Brayered it with versa mark then chalked the raindrops and sponged the edges.
Put this all on a brown AC card and cleaned up.....I wish!!! I am such a messy stamper......
Thanks Stef for the great IC site and to Birgit for the simple frame technique........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Hi NC Sis!
P.S. Apparently the link to the IC doesn't show the one I chose. Click "Garden" on the left and it is the purple rain boots one. :0)

I love this! How come rain looks so pretty, bright and cheerful on your card when it's so dismal, grey, and relentless here????!!! I loved the boots inspiration and if I'd had time today, I would have gone for it! You've done an amazing card with the inspiration, so cute, a real joy to look at!

LOVE the bright colors on your card! Those boots are too cute! The umbrella, the pot of flowers, the frame and the raindrop ef... all great details! Awesome card!~

I recognised the inspiration immediately even without the link. And even though it's raining on your card, it's still such a happy scene - makes you want to go out and splash in the puddles.
