The theme for the October Sisterhood of the Traveling Card swap was nautical. I got my inspiration for doing this ship pop-up card from and beautiful project on Regina's The Stamping Bean blog here: http://thestampinbean.blogspot.com/2...eak-day-1.html
I used the Cuddlebug embossing folder to simulate the waves on SU Pacific Point cardstock. The ship pieces were run through the Cuddlebug folder to simulate wood grain.
The sentiment on the front of the card was one I found on the internet. I felt it fit the theme, the pop-up of my "Mayflower" ship and the season.
I hope the recipients enjoy it!

I love Sabuda's stuff - have a couple of his books and sometimes DH makes me cards using his templates. This is fantastic! I can see it as a pirate ship for boys too, although it's perfect for the Pilgrim theme.

Oh my stars, Judy! This is absolutely amazing - perhaps one of the most beautiful cards I've ever set eyes on - ditto the patience to put 6 of these together! YOU GO GIRL!!
