I wanted to do another F4A challenge card using more traditional paper piecing. I don't have many current sets that lend themselves well to piecing, but Season of Joy has some elements that work for this technique. For the card on the left I stamped in Poppy Parade on Shimmer White paper then pieced in a tree in Pear Pizazz dp, star, and stamped the O in joy and layered it over. The bg is stamped in Pear and Poppy with stamps from the set. A triple ribbon combo of Marina Mist, Whisper White and silver cord is tied on the side. The 2nd card has a couple of pieced elements on the tree which was stamped on the same Pear Pizazz dp and this time the O is stamped in Versamark on Marina Mist then I used Heat and Stick powder to add Dazzling Diamonds glitter for a sparkle on the snowflakes. I wasn't sure I'd like this color combo for Christmas, but I think it works! I think both of these cards would be easy to demonstrate (other than cutting out that TINY star)!
