I made this card for Weekly Challenge #21 on Joan's Gardens' blog which this week had the following requirements:
-something from nature (not flowers) - real or handcrafted
-something punched
-something green
-a background for our focal point (i.e. Nesties)
I used Korin's sketch from yesterday (SC304).
I used a twig from my driveway as my "something from nature" and had the cardinal sit on it. My something punched and something green are the branches I glued to the twig for foliage. I created a background for my cardinal wth Petite Oval Nesties.
Thanks for looking!

Carla, this is one of my very favorite cards you have done. I totally love it!!!
The colors are perfect and the touch of a twig adds so very much. It is pretty enough to frame.
Thanks so much for playing in Joan's Gardens #21 Weekly Challenge.
This will be a fun week seeing what everyone uses from nature.

Another fabulous card Carla. You are so creative. Love the addition of the twig. The design papers are gorgeous with the cardinal. Great job with the challenge.

You did a fantastic job on the challenges, your card is so lovely! Great job incorporating the twig, it really looks natural the way you added the die cut leaves.
